The South Niagara Community Futures Development Corporation and its partners wish to thank the contribution of the Ontario Trillium Foundation for providing $37,500 over one year to restore designated heritage components of the Roselawn Centre, a historic building in the heart of Port Colborne. The funding has successfully restored the windows, eves, soffits and painting the entire structure to ensure the facility's integrity for the next 20 years. As a site of historical significance, Roselawn continues to be a focal point for tourism, arts and culture within the Niagara region.

In 2007, the South Niagara Community Futures Development Corporation partnered with the City of Port Colborne to launch the inaugural Flavours of Niagara – International Food, Wine and Jazz Festival. Taking place on Canada Day Weekend, the festival blended together two days of jazz, multicultural cuisine, award winning Niagara VQA wines, and a pyrotechnic fireworks display to commemorate Canada’s 140th birthday. This first time event attracted over 30,000 visitors to HH Knoll Lakeview Park in Port Colborne, resulting in new tourism visitation and economic spin effects to the area. As a community development project focusing on tourism and economic growth, the SNCFDC will once again join its partners to expand the festival in 2008.
